Who owns the material

RF Journey is created and maintained by Ricardo Pereira. Except where another owner or licence is identified, rights in the original copyright-protected code, explanations, illustrations and other material are reserved by Ricardo Pereira or the relevant rights holder.

Public access does not make this material open source. These terms do not claim ownership of RF principles, facts, equations, mathematical methods, public-domain material, or rights belonging to other people.

What you can do

  • Read the public lessons and use the available tools for study and engineering work, including work for your employer or clients.
  • Link to public pages and save or print individual lessons for your own reference, keeping their attribution and notices.
  • Use your own inputs, uploaded data, numerical results and exported calculation tables in your work. RF Journey does not claim ownership of your data or of mathematical results.
  • Share a certificate issued to you as provided by its sharing and printing controls, without altering its identity, outcome or verification details.

Copyright exceptions and other uses permitted by applicable law remain available. These terms do not limit those rights.

When to request permission

Unless a separate licence or applicable law permits it, obtain written permission before republishing or translating lessons, distributing collections of material, reproducing original illustrations, incorporating protected source code into another product, or selling or licensing copies of the content.

This also applies to automated copying that reproduces protected material for a mirror, content database, competing course or training dataset. Ordinary search indexing and linking are welcome; this permission does not extend to republishing substantial protected content. Giving credit alone does not replace any required permission.

Use the Contact page to describe the material, where you want to use it, the audience and whether the use is commercial. A request is not permission until the rights holder agrees.

Third-party material and branding

Third-party software, fonts, quotations and other identified materials retain their own licences and notices. A reference link does not grant permission to reproduce the linked material. RF Journey can grant only rights it holds.

Do not use the RF Journey name, emblem or certificate design to imply an affiliation, endorsement or credential that does not exist. Accurate references to the project and other legally permitted uses remain allowed. No registered-trademark status is claimed here.

Accounts, assessments and contributions

Keep your account credentials private and use only access you are authorised to have. Do not bypass access controls or obtain another person’s private records. Assessments and certificates are subject to the conditions shown for that assessment; they do not imply professional accreditation or independently verified identity.

For a contribution, agree its scope, rights, any payment and credit in writing before substantial work or publication. Sending an idea or a message does not automatically transfer its ownership. Please do not send confidential information belonging to an employer, client or other person.

Use engineering judgement

Lessons and calculations explain models with stated assumptions and limits. Check that those assumptions fit your design and validate important results with appropriate references, measurements and review. Educational examples and certificates do not establish product compliance, safety or fitness for a particular application.

Questions or a rights concern

Contact Ricardo Pereira for permission requests or to report material you believe infringes your rights. Identify the relevant page, the original work and your relationship to its rights holder. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or confidential information.

Permissions granted separately in writing remain governed by that agreement. When this page changes, its update date changes too; a later revision does not retroactively withdraw a separate permission already granted.
